Volleyball
What’s your passion? Mine is volleyball. Volleyball is a mental and physical sport. It is a physical sport because you are physically passing, setting, hitting, or serving the ball. You can’t play the game of volleyball without physically touching the ball or one of your teammates touching it. Volleyball can help you physically by making your muscles stronger by working with them. But it is very important to stretch or you could hurt yourself very bad. It takes a lot of force to be able to hit the ball and it go over the net. It is a mental sport because if you miss a point then you get down, but then you start winning again so your head goes up. Mental sports sometimes are hard to play because you get so down that you just stop trying. You need to always believe in you and your team and your team or you will never succeed. Volleyball can be really fun but you have to control your emotions to succeed.

I have been playing volleyball since I was seven. I started playing at sports of all sorts for two years and moved on to club.I have been playing for club for two years for Crush volleyball club. Right now I am playing for my school, but the bad thing is that it is a very short season. In volleyball you make life long friends. You meet them from a team and you never want the season to end! I love to play volleyball outside with my friends and goof of. There are six positions on the court. First you start out serving, if you miss you go and make a pass. The object of the game is to get three hits. If it hits the floor then the play is over, and you start a new server on your team or on the other team. In volleyball you either bump, set, spike,or serve the ball. These are the key opponents of volleyball. My coach has always told me that passing and serving are the key pats of making 3 hits happen.
It is my passion because I enjoy doing it. It is very fun and once you try it you will enjoy it! I love every thing about it. Being able to touch the ball and interact with it. Goofing around and making jokes with them. Meeting life long friends that you always can count on. Them being there for you every second through you ups and downs. Everyone supporting you when you make a mistake. Everyone making you feel like you belong to them.
